Frequently Asked Questions
Find answers to common questions about our egg donor program, referral bonuses, and how you can help build families with Allure Fertility.
-
Allure egg donor payments are based on your qualifications and how many times you’ve donated eggs previously. Typically, first-time egg donors receive a payment starting at $10,000.
-
The recommended amount per American Society for Reproductive Medicine (ASRM) guidlines is up to six times. This is due to the potential risks associated with egg retrieval, such as the increased risk of developing ovarian hyperstimulation syndrome (OHSS).
-
No, egg donation does not affect fertility.
-
In the United States, egg donation can be anonymous, and most intended parents and donors choose that and will never meet. Confidentiality will always be upheld by the egg donation agency and medical clinic. In anonymous egg donation, recipients will have access to medical information and photos as necessary to select a donor, but not any personal information that would help them identify or locate the egg donor. With modern geneology companies such as 23andMe, there may always be a risk of becoming discovered so total anonymity may be impossible.
-
Nicotine, tobacco, and illegal drugs all impact your health by introducing toxins into your body. These chemicals can also impact your egg reserve, ovulation, and overall fertility. Because we want our egg donors to be as healthy as possible, we choose to work with non-smokers who do not have a history of illegal drug use.
